The works and their preparations

Now that the application for a permit has been submitted, a public inquiry is planned within the next few months and a consultation committee will follow. The building permits were granted in February 2024. Work would then begin in the 2nd quarter of 2024.

Work will start in the second quarter of 2024, with completion scheduled for the third quarter of 2026. The works will therefore last more or less 30 months and will take place in several phases, of which we will keep you informed.

A large construction site always generates noise pollution and/or dust. Immobel will however take care to limit all possible sources of disturbance. We will study:

  • The stability of the surrounding buildings and the impact of the work on them;
  • The stability of the ground;
  • Limitation of noise pollution;
  • Ways to generate as little dust as possible;
  • Ways to avoid cracks;
  • The measures to be taken to prevent soil pollution;
  • The measures to be taken to minimise the impact of the work on the living environment;
  • The measures to be taken to minimise the impact on the traffic of vehicles and people;
  • Ways to produce as little waste as possible.

Based on these results, we will draw up a noise reduction plan which will limit the impact of the work on the site’s environment as much as possible.

A newsletter will be sent regularly to inform the neighbourhood of the work, the next steps and the progress made. The project’s website http://lebeau-sablon.be will also make it possible to share information on the current situation.

For all questions relating to the work, please send an email to the address info@lebeau-sablon.be. We will reply as soon as possible.
